Inexpensive Party Picks.

I thought adding party picks to the kids muffin tins would be cute. I didn't want to pay the price of them and I needed all types of themes. So I decided to make my own using magazines and toothpicks. Here's a few that I done.

My Son Is The Best At Hide N' Seek!

Our Hide N' Seek adventure started 2 months ago. Anthony loves getting ahold of things he knows he shouldn't, doesn't all kids? First our living vent cover went missing, so we took the one in our room and put it in it's place. Then my Paula Deen spoon went missing and my glass ask tray. Now our Charter remote is missing! It has now been missing for 2 1/2 days. While searching for the remote we came across the vent cover! You'll never guess were we found it. In the air conditioning vent. I thought I was going to have to make up Missing posters...hahaha. So now that is found, we still are Hide N' Seeking the Paula Deen spoon, ash tray, and the Charter remote.
This is his, Uh oh they caught me look.

Who is your Hero?

In everyone's life there are people who mean a lot to them but, every once in a while someone even more unique comes along. Someone who you can call a "hero" A hero is a person so close to your heart that you can't possibly imagine what life would be like without them. A hero is someone who has made a difference in your life, and it is obvious to the people around you. A hero is someone who has influenced you more than you will ever know. Just because you consider someone a "hero" doesn't always mean they are "superheroes" heroes can be ordinary people like you and me. For me that person is my MOM I believe that my mom deserves the title "hero." My mom has made a difference in many peoples lives, including mine. She has many qualities that make her special. Whenever I need someone to talk to, she is always there for me. She listens to what I have to say and tries to help me with my problems. I know that I can talk to her about anything and that I don't have to feel embarrassed because I know that she won't get mad at me. She is compassionate and feels sympathetic for me whenever I get hurt or injured. Another characteristic that my mom has is fairness, when I want something she will try her best to negotiate with me and compromise to accommodate both what I want and what she wants for me. I can always count on my mom she will tell me the truth. She is not selfish or self centered; she always helps others whenever possible. She is very selflessness. The last attribute that my mom has is integrity. She cares about me and she is always honest and will love me no matter what, and I know that I don't have to be anyone but myself for her. Your friends aren't going to be the people who stand by you till the end. It's going to be your family. My mom is a huge part of my life since I was little and I hope that it stays that way forever.   Coming straight from my heart my mom is truly my hero. She doesn't need "a pat on the back for that." When I'm happy, she's happy and she gets a joy out of seeing my face when I smile and when I laugh. I know that my mom will always support me and that whatever road I'm headed for she will always love me for me. If you dig deep enough I'm sure you will find someone too who you can call your hero.

Have you herd about Circle G Ranch?

Several months back he wanted to take a family outing we didn't have much money, so we had to find something cheap to do. We had enough of parks and splash pads. We came across Circle G. Ranch. We didn't think it was going to be fun at first, but as soon as we entered through the gate the fun began. Best of all we had a great time, it was very inexpensive, and it was a great hands-on animal experience. This was closes my kids had been to bulls, zebras, and many other animals. It's a 105 acre Drive Thru Zoo were you can  pet & feed over 500 exotic animals roaming about free. We had so much fun we ended up visiting th ranch 3 times that week. Our secod time we went we bought a family season pass for an extremely low cost, so now we can go anytime we want and all we have to buy is feed for the animals.

They also offered pony and camel rides.
Along with truck rides.

Here's a few of the animals that are on the ranch.

1st trip to Kentucky Splash!

This past weekend we took a family outing to Kentucky Splash. For the ones of you who have never herd of it, it's a water park in Williamsburg, Kentucky that includes a 18,000 square ft. wave pool, a drift river, a kiddy activity pool, a triple slide complex, a double slide tower, a go-kart track, a championship miniature golf course, an arcade, a batting cage, and a driving range. We had a blast. This was my first time to a waterpark and I had a blast. I have to admit the lazy river was so relaxing I really enjoyed it. Best of all it was only $10.00, yep that's rght folks I said $10.00 small smackaroos or you can get an All even Admission for only $26.95 which includes the water part, 2 go-kart rides, 2 batting cage tokens, and unlimited mini- golf. So if your planning a family outing to get cooled off I defiantly recommend this place.
Paul (my fiance) enjoying the lazy river!

Splash Pads

Since Summer is here I thought I would post some Splash Pads that we visits yearly in Knoxville and in the surrounding counties. My family and I love going to Splash Pads. These Splash Pad’s are a great way to entertain the kids for a few hours and run off some of that summer morning and late afternoon energy for which my kids are so well-known. The best thing is it's FREE and I know we all love free things! :)

Carl Cowan Park- This park, part of the Carl Cowan park, is perfect for a hot summer Tennessee Day. It was quite clean and offered plenty of water entertainment for the kids. It has a shaded seating area situated up close to the water area so moms can stay in the shade and closely monitor their kids. The splash pad area is in an enclosed setting so kids can not run away. The kids here appeared to enjoy it tremendously and since admission is FREE, it's a great summer activity. Carl Cowan Park

It's a watermelon eatting, seed spitting, juicy good time!

I had a watermelon that that we were saving for the a weekend cookout, but it was starting to go bad, and it was a bright sunny day, so I decided to let them go ahead and eat it outside. These are some of the photos I captured.
